Opening Ceremonies will begin at 10am with the invocation by Rev. Dr. Timothy Corbett, associate minister of Race Street Baptist Church. The National Anthem will be sung by Angel Spencer, of New Life Assembly of God. Opening Statements will then be presented by this year¹s chairperson, Maureen Walls-McKay.

At 10:20am, Wendy Lyle Jones of WFLO radio station will host a morning of Good Gospel Music, featuring For His Glory gospel singers from Powhatan, VA, The Royal Supremes gospel singers from Farmville, and The Heavenly Five from Lynchburg, VA.

At 12:00 noon, back by popular demand, will be the return of Farmville¹s own Star Search, otherwise known as "The Showcase of Stars". Come out & witness some of the areas unbelievable talent.

To close out the day, East Coast Entertainment¹s band "Class Act" will perform some of Motown¹s Favorite Hits!
