2002 Heart of Virginia Saturday Night Concert and Fireworks

Unfortunately the rain of the day washed out the Saturday night concert at the airport. Both of the bands made the best of the situation but there were not many people there to appreciate their effort. By the time U.S. took the stage the rain was pouring down steadily on everyone and even with the tent on stage the band still got wet. U.S. made a gallant effort playing some Rock and Roll which was enjoyed by the massive crowd of about 15 watching. Unfortunately the fireworks had to be entirely canceled.
