2002 Heart of Virginia Children's Festival

At this year's Children's Art Workshop the children took part in a project to create their own customized party hat. Every year the art workshop provides a wonderful opportunity for children to participate in a project that is fun, educational and exposes them to the world of art. It demonstrates what they can achieve themselves and provides an activity that is great fun and inspirational.

Magician Walter Glod and Cody & BJ were back again for a second year. Cody & BJ thoroughly entertained the children getting them all singing and dancing and the children love to see their Parrots. There were also lots of educational booths to be explored with information about local organizations of all types. New to the festival was Ocean Encounters which gave visitors a chance to get up close and personal with some fascinating underwater wildlife!
