At the Farmville Airport, Saturday, May 4, 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Celebrate the 24th Anniversary of the Heart of Virginia Festival with a variety of entertainment for all ages! The BrothershipThe Brothership is a powerful, six-piece band and show, complete with choreography, glitter, satin, and sequins. The show features the vocal artistry of singer/songwriter Sidney Brodie, the oldest of the brothers. Also featured is the dynamic drummer and vocalist Len Brodie, the youngest sibling, singing many of the Beach Music songs and his share of Kool & The Gang hits. Robert Brodie, the middle brother, works the front line in a duo style with Sidney. Robert sings much of the classic R&B and Funk oriented tunes by such artists as The Commodores and Sam & Dave, as well as artists from the 80's and 90's. The Brothership also features the TBS horns, consisting of veteran saxophonist Al Russel of Chicago and Marvin Woffard on trumpet, percussion, and vocals. Vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist Raybar joined the Brothership from Los Angeles in 1997. He brings to the group a smooth baritone, classic blues guitar, and great keyboard synthesizer work. |
