2002 Southside Virginia Family YMCA/Heart Of Virginia 10K Run

WHERE

Starts at Hampden-Sydney College located off of Rt.15, South of Farmville (see map)

WHEN

Saturday, May 4, 2002, Starting at 8:30am.

PACKET PICKUP

Race packets can be picked up the week before the race at Southside Virginia Family YMCA, 404 East Third Street, or at Hampden-Sydney from 7:45am to 8:15am on MAY 4, 2002.

PRIZES

A Heart of Virginia 10K T-shirt to the first 100 applicants.

AWARDS - 10:00 AM

Trophies will be presented to the top three overall men and women finishers. Medallions will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in the following age divisions: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, AND 60 & OVER.
Trophies and medallions will be awarded immediately following the 10K.

COST

$15.00 before April 20, 2002.
$18.00 later and on day of race. Please register as early as possible.

RACE RESULTS

Race results will be mailed 2 weeks after the race date.

The Heart of Virginia festivities will continue through Saturday with arts, crafts and live entertainment in downtown Farmville concluding with the annual fireworks display at the Farmville Airport.
