First Fridays Concert - May 5th
First Fridays by the River is a summertime favorite event for area residents.
This year will be no different with the first concert being held on the Friday
before The Heart of Virginia Festival. Bring your family and friends to the
banks of the Appomattox River behind the Green Front
warehouses and enjoy the fun. The concert will begin at 5:30 with music and
lots of your favorite foods and beverages.

Hotwire, a long-time favorite, will perform on stage until 8:30.
Blue Ridge Beverage Distributing is providing Miller products for anyone over 21 years
of age.
Domino's Pizza and Pork-N-More will be set up to provide great food
at reasonable prices.
Admission is free of charge to everyone. Come see why this year's Heart of
Virginia Festival is going to be one of the best. See you there.
