[Kathy Adrian & Edward May] The Outdoor Arts Show provided a chance to experience the work of artists from all over Virginia and the surrounding states. Winner of the Best in Show was Edward May of Howardsville, Virginia, pictured to the left receiving his award from director of the art show, Kathy Adrian. [Edward May] To the right is another award winning artist, Lloyd Slaughter of Falls Church. Mr. Slaughter had examples of his incredible sculptures and exquisite paintings on display. One of his sculputures is featured in the festival publication (pg. 18) and one of his paintings can be see on the art show information page of this website. [Lloyd Slaughter]

[Trey Eppes and his work] [Work by Trey Eppes] Pictured to the left is Trey Eppes and some examples of the work he had on display at the festival. Mr. Eppes, who is a resident of Cullen, won first prize in the ceramics category.
There was some great music being performed at the Longwood Bicentennial Park. Festival-goers browsing through the art show were accompanied by the sounds of festival regulars Back In Bluegrass and The Southside Jazz Quartet, both pictured below.
