
| Opening ceremonies will begin at 10 a.m. with the singing of our National Anthem by Bridget Carrington and an invocation by Rev. Samuel Trent, Pastor of Eureka Baptist Church in Keysville. Debbie Coffin, the chair of this year's festival, will deliver an opening statement. |

We are very happy to have Angela Miles from News Channel 6 as host of our 6th annual Showcast of Stars.
Angie is a native of Powahatan and has been an anchor/reporter with News Channel Six
since August 1993 and has worked for three other stations as well. She also enjoys producing,
writing, shooting and editing. Gospel recording artist The Vine Sisters & Family of Greenville, North Carolina, will take the stage at 10:45 a.m. to bring us the very best in gospel music.

Leroy Woolridge, Jr. started his body building career in 1992 when he entered his first contest,
Battle Of The Bodies, in Lynchburg. He placed third and decided to take it further. Since then
he has taken part in many competitions often placing high. Leroy will be onstage
following a kick boxing demonstration from Total Body Fitness at 11:40 a.m..
Local band Fantasy will end the downtown stage activities, performing from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. |
